Richie is the Senior Director of Enterprise Data & Enterprise Architecture at Weatherford, architecting and implementing data solutions that drive DataOps with AI-ready data infrastructure for Cloud based ERP transformation (transactional system of records) initiatives across Weatherford. Currently focused on large-scale data curation and automated data quality systems transforming raw operational data into OLAP ready datasets, enabling data-as-a-product across the Enterprise.
Previously, as North Americas Solutions & Data Engineering Leader at Yugabyte, Richie aided in designing distributed data platforms powering consumer-scale applications for major F50 enterprises like Mastercard, Amex, Walmart, Kroger, Fiserv, and GM. Working closely with founding teams and product leadership and engineering that enabled rapid scaling of mission-critical applications. Worked towards improving user experiences for applications serving millions of users daily.
At The Sherwin-Williams Company (NYSE: SHW), Richie built and scaled a global data engineering organization across 5 countries, implementing consumer data flywheels that transformed retail operations. He pioneered Data-as-a- Service platforms supporting 60K+ users globally, orchestrating 1300+ data pipelines processing over a petabyte of data daily. His team established data engineering and data quality frameworks and automated controls that ensured high-quality datasets for customer-facing analytics.
Richie brings over 20 years of experience in building large-scale data platforms and consumer applications. He combines deep technical expertise in distributed systems and data engineering with strong product intuition, focusing on creating delightful user experiences through high-quality data architectures. His technical foundation includes significant contributions at Oracle Corporation and Hitachi Consulting, implementing data engineering practices and data quality systems for Fortune 100 enterprises.
He holds degrees in Computer Science & Information Technology, an MBA in Finance from Cleveland State University, and executive leadership certifications from Case Western Reserve University.
